Rock Bouquets · Illustration Series
During a six-month stint in Portugal, I started arranging rocks on beaches and was shocked at how much I loved it.
I’ve long been into rocks, since a family trip to the American southwest when I was little. During my first “free float” as a young adult just out of college, Moab, Utah (ancestral land of the Ute and Pueblo people) was the first place I ran to.
I’m a little bummed that I didn’t create more rock bouquets on the beaches of Portugal, so I’ve since switched to drawing them instead. An ongoing and evolving playground.
